Holiday Adopt-a-Family
The holiday season can be a challenging and stressful time for our families who struggle to provide basic needs for their children. You can bring holiday cheer and much-needed tangible support to families by participating in our Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program
How it works: MOMS Maternal Child Health Workers and Health Educators identify families who could especially benefit from some support during the holidays. Each is a family enrolled in MOMS home visitation or health education programs. The families who are identified have a new baby or are expecting a baby.
- Stories of the families are shared along with a list of family members and the stores they frequent in their Wish List. Donors identify a family they wish to adopt and shop for gift cards for the family.
- Donors drop off the gift cards in November, and no later than December 2. Gift cards should be marked with value on them in unsealed envelopes or in a holiday bag. We will provide a red gift bag for those needing one.
- We distribute gifts and do our best to capture photos of the family with your special gift. We also ask them to write a note to their adopter(s) which will be provided to you via email.
Suggested gift card value per family member is $25. We also recommend a grocery gift card with a value of $15 per family member.
We hope to help 130 families by granting over 500 wishes to family members.

Host an Infant Essentials Drive
The diapers and clothing you generate from your drive are always given free-of-charge to MOMS Orange County families.
You can drop off your drive proceeds at:
1128 W. Santa Ana Blvd, Santa Ana, CA 92703
(corner of Santa Ana Blvd and Baker Street, 1 block east of Bristol)
Donations are accepted Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
