How to Get Started

There is no cost to you for home visits with MOMS Orange County. Start by signing yourself up or referring someone else using our registration form. Someone from MOMS Orange County will call to talk with you about the program and help you get started.

You can also call us at 714-972-2610 to register or get answers to your questions.

Confidence From Day One

During your pregnancy your MOMS Orange County Home Visitor helps you and your baby be your healthiest and prepares you for childbirth and breastfeeding. Your Home Visitor meets you in your home or in a place most comfortable for you. She visits with you once a month from the time you begin with MOMS through your baby’s first birthday.

She has answers to the thousands of questions you will have during pregnancy, like:

what can I do to help my baby be healthy?
what does my baby need while I’m pregnant?
what do the changes I see in my body mean?
what will the experience of our baby’s birth be like?

A New Mother’s Caring Friend

Your Home Visitor continues to come to you through your baby’s first year. She will support you during the breastfeeding process and give you tips on how to care for your newborn. She helps you encourage your baby’s healthy development with activities that strengthen your baby’s growing brain and body, while having fun together.

Once you sign up for MOMS home visits, your Home Visitor may also invite you to participate in some of our Pregnancy classes and Mommy & Me classes.

Meet Gina

I first learned of this wonderful program when attending Lamaze classes at a local hospital. It excited me to know there was such an organization with such valuable information for me as a first time mom. I got signed up immediately. I have never regretted that I did!

Lupe, who was my MOMS home visitor, became such an encouragement and help to my husband and me. She helped me by problem-solving unique challenges I faced due to the fact that I am in a wheelchair. This reassured me there was someone there to lean on and help me find resources that I was searching for.
