MOMS Orange County announces the addition of two new board members, Jean Millar, Regional Executive Director, Women and Children’s Clinical Institute, Providence and Nichole Ramirez, Senior Vice President of Communications and Donor Relations, Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties.
“MOMS Orange County is privileged to welcome two influential community leaders to our board who are dedicated to our vision of helping families have healthy babies,” said Dave Lugo, MOMS Orange County CEO.
Millar, a resident of Silverado Canyon, is an accomplished healthcare leader with progressive leadership experience in Women’s and Children’s healthcare operations, physician relations, financial management and quality improvement. At Providence, she leads the Women’s and Children’s Clinical Institute with oversight and accountability for ensuring quality outcomes and driving strategy for the nine hospitals which provide delivery services in the Providence Southern California region with over 22,000 births annually.
“It is a privilege to serve as a board member of MOMS Orange County,” Millar said. The mission of MOMS Orange County really resonated with me and I have seen first-hand the value and tremendous impact of bringing much needed services to vulnerable families so that every child born has equal opportunity for a bright start and future.”
Ramirez, a Huntington Beach resident, has held various leadership positions at Planned Parenthood for over six years and currently leads the overall strategy, execution, and management of the organization’s political and charitable fundraising efforts and all communications including advertising, public relations, brand management, and internal communications.
Ramirez says, “I’m looking forward to supporting MOMs Orange County as they grow their programs that assist the local community and help ensure all mothers and families have the education and resources needed for a healthy pregnancy and successful early childhood development.”
